This military bastion, guarding the entrance to the harbor, now opens up to the mysteries of the deep. Legendary robot explorers, reconstructed shipwrecks and a botanical garden punctuate a visit between technology and maritime history.

Discover the richness of the Mediterranean depths through innovative installations: the reconstructed wreck of the Arroyo, the Robin robot designed to explore the Titanic, and a sensory immersion experience with the film Je suis la Méditerranée (I am the Mediterranean). From Fort Balaguier, there's a breathtaking view of the harbor and Toulon's great protective seawall, a masterpiece of engineering by Vauban.

You'll love :
- A collection of high-tech machines that have explored the world's depths.
- A sensory film to feel the force of the Mediterranean currents.
- A unique perspective on Vauban's great dike from the fort's ramparts.
