How do I use the Provence Med City Card?
In summary, the card gives you access throughout its activation period:
- to 15 spots unmanageable (one entry or one return per site)
- to transport by bus and bus boats for free unlimited travel,
- to guided tours moderated by the guides of the Tourist Office by reservation
- to exclusive benefits in a selection of local artisans and partners (craftsmen, producers, estates, restaurants...).

For a simple and optimal use of your pass, we strongly recommend downloading the Provence Med City Card mobile app:
The app allows you to:
- To add the City Cards of your group or family on one phone,
- Geolocation of all activities,
- To access the sites by scanning the QR codes dedicated to the entry,
- To validate your bus and bus transport by scanning the QR code for each trip
- To validate your discounts at our partners directly with your smartphone,
- To obtain information about the included sites (presentation, schedules, access...),
- To receive information in real time related to your stay.
Can't download the app?
Upon purchase, you receive your e-ticket by email for presentation at the entrance to each site. Imperative: in this case, you must come to meet us in one of our tourist information offices to recover transport tickets corresponding to your card duration.
A connection is essential to activate the application Provence Med City Card, validate your public transport and your entries in the included sites. Some of its menus are viewed offline.
To use your Provence Med City Card :
- Your City Card is dematerialized and you use dedicated application : Open your application and scan or present the QR Code at the site entrance or on a bus or bus boat.
- Your City Card is in format paper or e-mail voucher - present it to the provider at the entrance of the site for validation. To use public transport bus and bus boat, you must collect your tickets in one of our offices. They have to be validated every time.
Important: the transport document has a daily validity. Example: If you confirm your City Card for the first time on Thursday at 3pm, your ticket is valid until Thursday 11:59pm. All other activities included are valid until Friday 2:59 p.m.
The counting of the duration of your Provence Med City Card starts at the first activation (site or transport) for 24 hours, 48 hours consecutive or 3 days a week.
- 24h: I first validate my City Card on June 1st at 10:12 am, it is active until June 2nd at 10:11 am. Unlimited transport is valid until 1 June 11:59 p.m.
- 48h: I first valid my City Card on June 1st at 10:12 am, it is active until June 3rd at 10:11 am. Both days are consecutive. Unlimited transport is valid until 2 June 11:59 p.m.
- 3 days a week: I first validate my City Card on June 1st at 10:12 am. I can use the remaining two days, consecutively or not, until 8 June 10:11. I have 3 days of unlimited transport, every day ends at 11:59.
Three City card formats are available: 24 hours, 48 hours and 3 days.
What does that mean in practice? Here are three examples to understand:
- 24h : a Provence Med City Card validated for the first time on June 1st at 10h is valid until June 2nd at 9h59
- 48h: a Provence Med City Card validated for the first time on June 1st at 10am is valid until June 3rd at 9:59am. Both days must be consecutive.
- 3 days: a Provence Med City Card validated for the first time on June 1st at 10am. It is valid for 2 additional days, to be consumed consecutively or not, until 8 June of the same year included.
Note:
- The validity of the Provence Med City Card is in hours, but the validity of the tickets is in daytime.
- Example: You activate your City Card 24h on Tuesday at 3pm > It is valid until Wednesday 2:59 pm for the whole section Tourist and cultural sites. Your tickets are valid until Wednesday 11:59 pm.
Your Provence Med City Card can be used until 31 December of the year of purchase.
Due to the annual closure of some sites, we advise you to check your availability for full use before purchasing it.
Are you with a couple, family, friends and you find it easier than a single person in your group to present all of your City Cards to the service providers? For this, you can associate several Provence Med City Card in the dedicated app on a single smartphone.
From the app, add the number of the first City Card (it appears in your e-ticket) to associate it: it is now available in the "My Pass" section. To add other City Cards, click "+" and renew the operation as many times as necessary.
It is not possible to transfer your Provence Med City Card to another device once you have associated it with the mobile app. Make sure you choose the right smartphone before linking your City Card.

Explore with my Provence Med City Card
The reduced-fare ferry to Porquerolles Island From Toulon, Saint-Mandrier and La Seyne-sur-Mer is one of the exclusive advantages included in all the durations of City Card. On the island, visit Fort Sainte-Agathe It is included in your City Card.
Reservation guided tours is mandatory with one of the offices of the Tourist Office.
Your Provence Med City Card number is required to validate the booking, send you the meeting place and voucher to be presented to the guide on D-Day.
The Provence Med City Card offers free access to 15 sites and 11 guided tours (depending on the schedule and subject to availability) which you can find here complete list.
You can visit as many sites as you want within the card period you have chosen (24h, 48h consecutive or 3 days non-consecutive over a week).
Your Provence Med City Card also offers you exclusive benefits a selection of partners.
The Provence Med City Card entitles you to a single entrance per attraction, unlimited access to guided tours (depending on schedule and availability) and bus and bus transport (1, 2 or 3 days depending on the format of the chosen Provence Med City Card).
The majority of sites included in the Provence Med City Card are open from mid-February to mid-November.
Some openings may be dependent on favourable weather conditions (sea or coastal activities) forest forests).
In low season, some sites may have restricted opening periods or seasonal closures. During this period, we advise you to check the opening hours to organize your stay.
Use buses and bus boats with my City Card
To access Mistral network public transport, free and unlimited for the duration of your pass, you must download and install the Provence Med City Card mobile app on your smartphone, and attach your City Card number to it.
Before you start your journey, on board the bus or bus boat, open the Mistral Network Transportation menu of the app: the camera opens so that you flash the QR code whose display is located in several places on board, simply passing your phone in front.
Note:
Validation is mandatory for every climb and match of your journey.
Bus and bus routes are unlimited over periods of one day (example: if you activate your Provence Med City card 24h on Wednesday at 3pm, bus and bus trips are unlimited until 11:59pm, last bus times to check on the Mistral network site).
If you can't or don't want to use the dedicated app, you need to recover your transport tickets in one of our reception offices. They will be issued upon presentation of your purchase confirmation email.
In the Provence Med City Card app, click on the "Réseau Mistral Transport" menu and then on "Show My Title for Control".
Your current transport ticket of your last validation appears: it can be checked by the agent.
Note: you must validate your City Card on each trip.
If your journey by bus or bus boat continues while the activation period of your Provence Med City Card has ended, you must purchase a full ticket from the driver (provide cash).
Get my Provence Med City Card
You can buy your Provence Med City Card on site, in the one of the ten reception points of the Tourist Office Provence Méditerranée. You can also buy it online.
The Provence Med City Card is available 24h to 20€, 48h to 27€ and 3 days to 35€ for children aged 4 to 12*.
We thought you might enjoy buying a pass for each member of your family to facilitate access to the sites to visit. However, we would like to inform you that certain services are paid for adults but free for children. Consider checking the access conditions and using the economy calculator to assess the real interest of the Provence Med City Card child according to your program and the age of your babies.
Please note: Under 4 years, access to most sites is free.

Within 15 minutes of purchasing Provence Med City Card, you must receive by email an e-ticket containing your pass number and the associated QR Code.
